Politics in the United States is becoming more and more polarized, especially with leftists now in power. While it looks like they're merely attacking the Constitution and silencing conservatism, in reality, they're fighting against God.
The last few months have seen the most contentious time in the United States since at least the Civil War. While it's easy to be drawn into the political back-and-forth of what's happening, it's crucial to also keep in mind the battle is just as much spiritual as it is physical.
He's the only member of the Catholic hierarchy who has spoken out about it, declaring, "Daily, we sense the attacks multiplying of those who want to destroy the very basis of society: the natural family, respect for human life, love of country, freedom of education and business."
Viganò further observes, "We see heads of nations and religious leaders pandering to this suicide of Western culture and its Christian soul," adding, "while the fundamental rights of citizens and believers are denied in the name of a health emergency that is revealing itself more and more fully as instrumental to the establishment of an inhuman faceless tyranny."
The architect, he asserts, is "a global elite that wants to subdue all of humanity, imposing coercive measures with which to drastically limit individual freedoms and those of entire populations."
The repression is showing itself especially strong against Christianity. The China-virus lockdowns began nearly a year ago, crashing the most successful economy in the world and even being the means to steal a presidential election. But it also closed down most public Catholic worship throughout the United States and Europe.
This battle against the West is, at its heart, a battle against God and His Church. It's the forces of Hell, with Satan leading the charge against the Church and the mystical body of Christ.
