Immediately ruled a suicide, numerous inconsistencies still surround his death, implicating a cover-up by the Church and local government. Michael Voris is the founder and President of St. Michael's Media / Church Militant. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1983 with a degree in Communications and moved into a career as television news reporter, anchor and producer, mainly with CBS News, where he received four Emmy Awards for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism. He is also the recipient of numerous Associated Press awards and other broadcast media awards.
Michael graduated magna cum laude with a Sacred Theology Baccalaureate from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome (The Angelicum).
