Democrats in Alaska are looking to profit from drag queen story hours for kids. Conservative backlash that forced a local Anchorage library to stop hosting the event in 2019 has driven the Democrat Party to host the event virtually. Liberals are bringing cross-dressing men out of gay bars and pushing them on children for a virtual drag queen storytime scheduled for June 19.
The Alaska Democratic Party is hosting the event to raise money for upcoming elections and features a Marxist, gender-confused performer who dances at bars in sexualized costumes.
Anchorage's archbishop Andrew Bellisario has done little to counter the rising sinful culture.
Editor Joel Davidson: "The archdiocese of Anchorage is very reticient to wade into political topics that have anything to do with abortion or LGBT issues or the drag queen story hours. They will weigh in on other left-leaning issues."
Republicans have consistently held power in Alaska since the '60s. But the percentages have been steadily declining as liberals increase. President Trump won Alaska in 2020 with the lowest margin the GOPs have garnered in the Last Frontier State.
Joel Davidson: "The Democratic Party is now using their official political apparatus to promote drag queen story hour for children, including toddlers. [This] shows you how far this movement has come. It's so mainstream that they unashamedly, unabashedly promote it as a political fundraiser now."
Alaskans need to be aware: Liberals are attempting to exploit their children and aggressively gain power. Conservatives need to be just as active.
Even though the local library stopped hosting the story hours, the Anchorage Assembly approved its continuation in 2019 after hearing testimony from Brooks Banker, the very drag queen scheduled to read to children in a couple weeks.
