BALTIMORE (ChurchMilitant.com) - The archdiocese of Baltimore has hired a pro-gay advisor to address racism.

Baltimore's Abp. William Lori announced in early June the creation of a board of consultants for racial diversity and inclusion. The board's task is to discuss and implement new policies based on an anti-racism pastoral reflection that Abp. Lori wrote back in 2019.

The archdiocese's new consultants hail from the consulting firm, Udarta. Among them is the firm's founder and president, Howard Ross — who openly supports the LGBT agenda.

This comes from a report on Thursday, July 2 by LifeSite, which points to Ross' professional history as well as his social media activity.

Ross has served on the Diversity Advisory Board for the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) — a major pro-LGBT lobby group. The HRC calls itself "the largest national lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer civil rights organization."

Likewise, Ross's Facebook activity is replete with pro-LGBT messages.

Advisor's CEO Slams Trump

The Trump administration filed an amicus brief in early June defending a Catholic adoption agency's right to refuse to place children with same-sex couples. The brief cited religious liberty as a primary concern. On Facebook, Ross called this move "yet another example that the Trump administration's guiding principles are bigotry, cruelty, hatred and exclusion."

Later that month, the Trump administration rolled back an Obama-era, pro-transgender policy. On Facebook, Ross slammed this as "sick, demented, cruel and hateful," adding, "If you support it, you really need to look in the mirror and ask yourself what happened to your humanity."

If you love an LGBTQ+ person ... and you're planning on voting for Donald Trump in November, that's an act of violence against them.

Also, in June, when the U.S. Supreme Court decided (in a 6–3 ruling) to redefine "sex discrimination" as including sexual orientation and gender identity (rather than only biological sex), Ross declared, "Hallelujah!"

In another post, Ross called it "an act of violence" against LGBT people to vote for President Donald Trump.

"If you love an LGBTQ+ person" Ross opined, "and you're planning on voting for Donald Trump in November, that's an act of violence against them."

LifeSite reports it reached out to the archdiocese of Baltimore and to Ross, but received no response by press time.

Firm's Leader Supports BLM

In addition to the pro-LGBT messaging, Ross' social media history shows endorsement for Black Lives Matter (BLM).

As an organization, BLM officially supports abortion, the LGBT agenda and even dismantling traditional family structures.

In addition to the pro-LGBT messaging, Ross' social media history shows endorsement for Black Lives Matter.

On the issue of abortion, BLM declared in a 2018 statement, "We deserve and thus we demand reproductive justice that gives us autonomy over our bodies and our identities while ensuring that our children and families are supported, safe and able to thrive."

Furthermore, the "What We Believe" page on BLM's website calls for the dismantling of "the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement," and states, "We make space for transgender brothers and sisters to participate and lead."

"We are self-reflexive," it continues, "and do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege and uplift Black trans folk, especially Black trans women who continue to be disproportionately impacted by trans-antagonistic violence."

The web page also states, "We foster a queer‐affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking, or rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual (unless s/he or they disclose otherwise)."
