DETROIT (ChurchMilitant.com) - Former vice president Joe Biden is continuing his rampage against American workers.

Asked by President Trump at the final presidential debate Thursday night if he would "close down the oil industry," Biden responded, "I would transition the oil industry, yes."

Trump sounded back, "That's a big statement" to which Biden replied, "It is a big statement."

Moderator Kristen Welker then asked Biden, "Why would you do that?"

The presidential hopeful answered, "Because the oil industry pollutes, significantly. It has to be replaced by renewable energy over time."

The oil and natural gas industry supports an estimated 10.3 million American jobs. Following the debate, Trump's former Energy Secretary and former governor of Texas Rick Perry tweeted, "Hey Texas and Pennsylvania, @JoeBiden just admitted he would transition from the oil industry, effectively killing an estimated 11 million jobs."

Shortly after Biden admitted he would seal the fate of the oil industry, Trump emphasized, "Basically, what he's saying is that he is going to destroy the oil industry. Will you remember that, Texas? Will you remember that, Pennsylvania? Will you remember that, Oklahoma?"

Biden seemingly walked back his comments somewhat on Friday but his official campaign site claims he will ensure "the U.S. achieves a 100% clean energy economy and net-zero emissions no later than 2050." Many have deduced that this means a total suppression of fossil fuels.

Joe Biden caught lying on fossil fuels

Time's Justin Worland on Friday wrote, "Nearly 80% of U.S. energy-related emissions came from oil and gas last year. The math is unavoidable: The industry will need to evolve dramatically, or disappear."

Biden: Anti-U.S. Worker Policies

Killing American jobs is old hate for Biden whose pro-China policies earned him the name "Beijing Biden" and helped move some 6 million U.S. manufacturing jobs to China from 1999 to 2010. This accounted for a loss of one-third of all U.S. manufacturing employment for that period.

Beginning in the 1990s, then-Sen. Biden aided China in obtaining its most-favored-nation trade status during his term as senior Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He did so while ignoring the country's horrific record on human rights violations.

Biden also helped China in the 1990s join the World Trade Organization (WTO) by carefully leading the Marxist nation through the process as an influential senator. He bulldozed roadblocks including attempts to tie China's economic status to its violations on human rights or labor conditions. One example of this was when Biden voted down a restraining measure and lobbied fellow senators to do likewise.

It seems now that Biden made millions of dollars in selling out America's manufacturing industry to China.

One of the human rights violations that Biden chose to ignore was China's "one-child policy," which included forced sterilization and forced abortions. During a videotaped response in 2011, however, Biden not only ignored the violation but actually endorsed it:

Your policy has been one which I fully understand — I'm not second-guessing — of one child per family. The result being that you're in a position where one wage earner will be taking care of four retired people. Not sustainable. So hopefully we can act in a way on a problem that's much less severe than yours, and maybe we can learn together from how we can do that.

It seems now that Biden made millions of dollars in selling out America's manufacturing industry to China. In September 2019, Trump publicized the fact that Joe Biden's son, Hunter, received a $1.5 billion "loan" from the Bank of China while his father was vice president under Barack Obama.

Almost a year after Trump's accusation, the New York Post on Oct. 14 broke the story of emails recovered from Hunter Biden's laptop showing the Biden family (including the vice president) received millions of dollars from communist Chinese officials.

Tony Bobulinski, whose name appears in the emails, released a statement to the New York Post Oct. 22 confirming the authenticity of the emails.

"The Biden family aggressively leveraged the Biden family name to make millions of dollars from foreign entities even though some were from communist-controlled China," asserted Bobulinski.
