Satanists turned out in Detroit, Michigan this weekend to counter-protest pro-lifers stationed in front of Planned Parenthood locations. Across the nation estimates are that 62,000 pro-lifers turned up to protest Planned Parenthood's receiving government funds.

The protests follow the release of a series of undercover reports showing pieces of aborted babies being sold by the abortion giant for medical research. The case has received virtually no media coverage in the mainstream liberal press, despite the fact that President Obama and his White House spokesman have addressed the issue.

The mainstream media aren't the only ones not really talking about this. Catholics are growing increasingly upset with their bishops who — with rare exception — have also kept quiet about this.

Congress adjourned for the summer recess before considering a motion to defund Planned Parenthood and kill the current Title X funding established under Richard Nixon.

Given the current climate, it appears pro-lifers will have no intention of dropping their calls to cut off that funding.
