Stefano Gennarini, vice president for Legal Studies, C-FAM: "I’m pretty certain that this blacklist that the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights is creating is going to be used to target Christians and others who oppose the LGBT agenda."

The United Nations is ready to blacklist groups that support Christian morals. Stefano Gennarini from watchdog group C-FAM (Center for Family and Human Rights) spoke to Church Militant about it Wednesday.

Gennarini: Through the U.N. human rights office, he has put out a call for inputs, primarily addressed to LGBT groups ... to point out to him individuals and organizations that oppose the LGBT agenda around the world."

Victor Madrigal-Borloz, a U.N. official with the Office for Human Rights, put out a memo asking organizations around the world for their input about fighting supposed “discrimination” based on sexuality and gender identity. The document has a list of 12 questions, one of which invites LGBT activists to name their enemies who are "regressing the human rights of LGBT individuals."

Madrigal-Borloz, from Costa Rica, is what’s known as an "independent expert" for the Human Rights Council, dealing with sexual orientation and gender identity.

Madrigal-Borloz: "LGBT people face significant challenges everywhere in the world."

In a video message in June, he claimed homosexual and gender-confused people are among the hardest-hit from the Wuhan virus crisis.

Madrigal-Borloz: "The pandemic is affecting people differently. And LGBT persons come to it within a position of vulnerability."

People worry his recent memo signals the beginning of a sort of watch list, labeling pro-family and pro-life groups as anti-gay or sexist.

Gennarini: "It's quite baffling to see that the same office for the High Commission for Human Rights, that argues for the protection of human rights defenders would want to create a blacklist that would be used to sanction and possibly create targets for social conservatives."

Pro-life and pro-family groups often criticize the United Nations for spreading the evils of contraceptionabortion and homosexuality all over the world — as a Vatican official noted in a statement last year.

Given the U.N.'s history of spreading sin around the world, the case could be made that putting together a watch list like this is just the next logical step.
