DETROIT (ChurchMilitant.com) - Catholics in America are getting new clarity about which bishops tried to halt discussion on pro-abortion leaders receiving Holy Communion.
The list that came to light this morning names all 68 prelates who signed a May 13 letter that argued against having discourse on denying Communion to pro-abortion politicians like Joe Biden. Specifically, the signatories did not want the issue featured in the U.S. bishops' conference's upcoming summer meeting, which will be held online.
The list of 68 signatories features many prominent names, including five cardinals and six archbishops.
