The Church Militant offices are closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We and live chapel prayers will return Monday.
For the 11th year, pro-life advocates will be converging in Cleveland on March 6–7 for the Bringing America Back to Life Conference.
Molly Smith, the president of Cleveland Right to Life and one of the founders of Right to Life Action Coalition of Ohio, is on the Download to discuss big plans for this year's event, including Church Militant's Michael Voris as the keynote speaker, among many others.
Also on the list of speakers for the weekend is Fr. Paul Sullins, a Senior Research Associate of the Ruth Institute and recently retired Professor of Sociology at the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. He will speak about "False Promises: Post-Abortive Psychological Distress and the Myth of the Therapeutic Abortion."
Doctor Jennifer Roback Morse, founder of the Ruth Institute, will discuss "Understanding (and Combating!) the Sexual Revolution." It's a subject she's dealt with and studied extensively in her latest book, The Sexual State.
Michigan-based pro-life activist Dr. Monica Miller will speak about "Why Abortion is the Pre-eminent Political Issue." It's a matter the U.S. Catholic bishops addressed at their fall meeting in November where about a third of bishops, including Chicago's Cdl. Blase Cupich, de-emphasized abortion, claiming poverty and immigration to be of the same moral weight.
China scholar Stephen Mosher, an expert on the looming demographic winter in China caused by its one-child policy, will discuss "AOC Says She Is Afraid to Have Children Because of Climate Change. Should Anyone Else Be?"
Doctor Alan Keyes will be on to discuss the end of Roe v. Wade with his talk, "Roe has a Sunset Clause."
