Canada's freedom protests hold fast in defiance of government overreach, and lockdown politicians on both sides of the border are getting desperate. Church Militant's Aidan O'Connor takes a closer look at Canada's fight for freedom.
Joe Biden's administration is urging Canadian authorities to come down hard on freedom protests. On Thursday, U.S. transportation secretary and gay apostate Catholic Pete Buttigieg joined Homeland Security asking Canada's government to end the trucker blockades on Detroit's Ambassador Bridge to Canada.
Canada's sham-Catholic prime minister, Justin Trudeau, hasn't met with the truckers yet, but rather appears to be running from protestors and politicians. Trudeau fled the nation's capital before the Freedom Convoy arrived, and now he is walking out on members of Parliament.
John Barlow, MP; Foothills, Alberta: "There is something fundamentally wrong when a prime minister refuses to listen. Here in Canada, our prime minister resorts to playground antics and calling names. Will the prime minister grow up? Will he do his job? Will he listen to Canadians?"
Trudeau repeated the stunt for another question period yesterday.
Member of Parliament: "Where did Justin go? Where did Justin go?"
Members of Parliament on both sides of the aisle are blasting Trudeau for refusing to budge from his COVID tyranny. Across the border, Michigan's Democratic governor Gretchen Whitmer is blasting the freedom protestors for harming the economy.
Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, D-Mich.: "We respect protestors' right to protest; what they don't have is a right to bring an economy to its knees."
Critics wonder if Whitmer and other leftist politicians have already forgotten their own crippling COVID lockdowns on families and businesses when the China virus began.
While Trudeau refuses to repeal his unpopular and tyrannical jab mandates — Freedom Convoy truckers are refusing to budge an inch.
