The newest episode of Mic'd Up is here!
OTTAWA, Canada (ChurchMilitant.com) - Justin Trudeau, Canada's prime minister, may be facing a new controversy in his run to maintain his position as prime minister. But mainstream Canadian media has not yet reported on it.
The Buffalo Chronicle, an American publication, is reporting that Trudeau is covering up a sexual relationship he had with a 17-year-old female high school student.
Now, 18 years later, the woman with whom he was allegedly involved tells the Chronicle that Trudeau's lawyers sought her out about two weeks ago demanding she sign a non-disclosure agreement regarding their past relationship.
It would also include a non-disparagement agreement and a payment of over $2 million for the woman's silence. While the Chronicle maintains it knows the identity of the woman, who is described as "the daughter of a wealthy Canadian businessman," it is respecting her request that her identity not be revealed.
Trudeau was a teacher at the elite West Point Grey Academy in Vancouver, British Columbia, from 1999 to 2001. The co-ed day school has students from pre-kindergarten through high school.
In 2001, when he was 29 years old, Trudeau abruptly left his teaching position in the middle of the school term after having had an alleged month-long sexual relationship with a female student.
Over the years, Trudeau's reason for suddenly leaving the school has changed, with Trudeau himself offering conflicting reasons.

This time by recently accredited (by Federal court ) Canadian journalist @CandiceMalcolm reports- which has not been denied
This now must be central news report of all Canadian Media. https://t.co/Hnwf8waMAt
In 2001 the Ottawa Citizen claimed he would "give up his teaching job … to give speeches," but a follow-up statement from his father's law firm, Heenan Blaikie, asked people "not to make things up" regarding his departure from the school.
Afterward, the Montreal Gazette said he had accepted a teaching job at a public school — which never materialized.
In his autobiography, Trudeau claims he left over a dispute with administrators about content in the school's newspaper, a claim parroted by the Vancouver Sun in 2015, which said it was "in part over a dispute over dress code and values."
Just last week Trudeau claimed he left "because [he] was moving on with [his] life," while the former headmaster claimed Trudeau left to pursue a degree in engineering.
Canadian journalist, Frank Di Fiore dismisses the accusation as a rumor, saying:
Rumours like this are tricky as there is an army of ex [Prime Minister Stephen] Harper-era staffers who sometimes have good information, while other times they are blowing hot air. It seems like, for some, disinformation is a sport. They understand that getting the rumour out is all that matters. I have spoken with several sources. Not all of them are staffers. Some are lawyers, or freelance writers, even an editor or two.
Di Fiore also noted in a tweet that the Canadian mainstream media had been "sitting" on the story.
You know why I don't like the media? They are all about tabloid these days.

Here's the rumour they've been sitting on.
Allegedly, @JustinTrudeau slept with a 17 year old when he was a teacher.
That's the big scoop, apparently.
Do with this as you will. #cdnpoli #elxn43
But Canadians are well acquainted with the Canadian Press and how uncritical it can be of politicians. Readers are hard pressed to find any story criticizing Trudeau in any mainstream media outlet.
One exception is Rebel News Network, also known as Rebel Media. But both the Canadian government and the mainstream media treat it with open hostility.
At a press conference Friday, PM candidate Jagmeet Singh refused to even answer a question by Rebel Media's Keenan Bexte

Neither Trudeau's office, the Canadian Liberal Party nor the West Point Grey Academy responded to Church Militant's questions about Trudeau's alleged relationship with the 17-year-old as of press time.
