Chicago is being looted by Black Lives Matter (BLM) — again.
Protesters downtown busted through store windows early Monday morning, following a police shooting of a man on Chicago's South Side, who was first shooting at them.
A gun recovered at the scene did not stop BLM from rioting and looting on behalf of the assailant.
During the riot, protestors opened fire on police.
Despite lesbian mayor Lori Lightfoot's past negligence of BLM violence, she said: "We have to turn our pain into purpose in order to get through this moment together."
It appears she's finally had enough.
Lightfoot: "Our police officers put themselves at great risk last night. Literally they were being fired upon as they were working to stop the looters. That can't be a circumstance that goes unchecked."
Hearkening back to late 1960s mayor Richard J. Daley, a devout Catholic often cited as being a tyrant when saying this in response to Chicago's 1968 riots: "that an order be issued immediately under his signature to shoot to kill any arsonists or anyone with a Molotov cocktail in their hand and to issue a police order to shoot to maim or cripple anyone looting any stores in our city."
The riots ended after 11 hours with over 2,000 arrests.
The city's homicide rate rose 140% in July, and police superintendent David Brown is now ready to mobilize his department.
Brown: "CPD will not stand by as our beautiful downtown becomes someplace that people fear."
With Marxist rioters shaking the foundations of various major American cities, Chicago's faithful are refreshed to hear their local leaders finally pledging action against communist anarchists.
