It doesn't take a financial analyst to see prices are surging at the grocery store. Nor does it take a private eye to notice increasing vacancy on grocery and retail shelves. It's a growing concern.

Church Militant's Aidan O'Connor takes a look at what's contributing to today's shocking shortages and why some think you should welcome the changes.

Over a million containers are stranded off the coast of California waiting to be unloaded, while workers are being paid to stay home. It appears liberal political officials are working tirelessly to kill the economy.

Sen. Josh Hawley: "People are paying more money for food, they’re paying more money for gas, they can't afford to get their car repaired. Why? Because inflation is out of control thanks to the Democrats and their socialist spending, and they want to make it worse!"

The Left wants you to accept scarcity and inflation as the "new normal." Forget making America Great Again. In Joe Biden's America, you need to lower your expectations. Mainstream media wrote about it, and Tucker Carlson slammed it.

Tucker Carlson: "We do ourselves a favor by consciously lowering expectations. Got that? So if you don't like the fact the shelves are bare in our local store, don't throw a fit. Don't be an entitled little tool. Lower your expectations. What did you expect in America?"

Under fake Catholic Joe Biden, Americans are expecting slim pickings at their favorite stores, with "#EmptyShelvesJoe" trending on Twitter. Americans can also expect to be lied to by an administration that wants you to believe things appear so bad because in fact, they're so good.

Jen Psaki: "As the economy is turned back on, more people had expendable income, wages, to buy more goods."

You can't always believe what you hear, but you can believe what you see. And what Americans see are emptying shelves and rising prices. And what they can expect is overall living costs to skyrocket.

The price of used cars and trucks rose by almost a quarter over the past year. The price increase for beef and bacon is around 20% so far. And gas is up by nearly a dollar compared to this time last year.
