Democrats are begging for another Obama on their 2020 ticket.
In Washington, Democrats created a committee for the explicit purpose of drafting Michelle Obama as faux Catholic Joe Biden's 2020 running mate.
Clyde Lederman, president of the committee, calls Obama "the most trusted and most well-liked woman in America," viewing her as the perfect choice for the vice presidency.
In recent weeks, Biden showed support for bringing the former first lady on his team, while also expressing doubt over her willingness to run.
He said, "I think she's had it with politics," but added that "having her as VP would be wonderful."
Valerie Jarrett, a former senior adviser to President Barack Obama, also expressed a similar sentiment, claiming Michelle "doesn't want the job."
Nevertheless, the committee does have big-name support behind it, including Mack Wilbourn, president of big money financial firm Mack II; Sidney Topol, board member of Boston PBS affiliate WGBH-TV and Massachusetts politician Tito Jackson.
Reportedly, other leading Democrats will be joining the effort soon.
Currently, Biden is seeking a woman who is younger than him as his vice president and has launched a panel to vet potential running mates.
The news comes amid the growing scandal over Tara Reade's sexual harassment accusations against the former vice president, putting the need for a strong Democratic ticket at the forefront of his campaign.
