DETROIT (ChurchMilitant.com) - A prominent Catholic leader is accusing the Democrats of condoning — even constructing — social chaos as a strategy to defeat President Trump.
Steven Mosher, an internationally recognized expert on China and head of the Population Research Institute (PRI), is bidding Americans to keep their eyes open to this reality. "Anyone who thinks that nationwide riots have spontaneously erupted because of a single case of police brutality in Minneapolis is naïve," Mosher said.
"BLM [Black Lives Matter] has been organizing for many years, going back to the founding of the organization over 10 years ago," Mosher also told Church Militant. "The Minneapolis episode was just a useful jumping-off point."
Using the tragic death of George Floyd as a pretext to riot, he said the Democrats' strategy has been to "sit back and watch as the radical wing of their party is unleashed on America. They want to create the impression that the country is on the brink of a violent revolution. They want the American people to feel threatened and vulnerable."
"By sponsoring a summer of rage, Dem-supporting leftists have already changed the terms of the national political debate" he said. "In the months leading up to a normal election, Americans would be asking themselves, 'Who is the better candidate for president?' Instead, people are more concerned about electing someone who can save the country from violence and chaos."
"Lacking a credible candidate — does anyone really think Biden is capable of being president? — leftists have resorted to a strategy of causing as much political chaos and social disorder as possible," he observed. "They will only call off their carefully stage-managed 'revolution' if you put them back in power."
Mosher gave a succinct summary of how Democrats keep the cycle of rioting going, putting forth the example of Portland mayor Ted Wheeler: "He calls off his own police, encourages the rioters and then blames Trump for the riots when he sends in federal police to restore order and protect federal property."
"Of course, the riots long predate the feds' arrival," he added.
Not only do the riots become the focus of the media's attention, Mosher noted, but other important news like Trump's executive order helping Hispanic Americans gets submerged under stories like the burning of the historic San Gabriel Mission in California.
Stage-managing this political ploy is costly. But Mosher notes that the militant arms of the Democrats, like BLM and Antifa, have "been enormously productive in extorting money from large corporations like Walmart and Nike," which amounts to "protection money," he explained.
He pointed Church Militant to a GreatGameIndia article titled "Confidential Docs: George Soros Funding BLM Style Racial Movements to Topple Donald Trump," which discloses that atheist billionaire Soros has doubled his 2016 election expenditures to defeat Trump's re-election.
In particular, Soros' Open Society Foundations (OSF) is giving $220 million to BLM-style groups focused on "racial justice." Since 1984, the OSF website claims Soros has pledged $32 billion for similar causes. According to the European Center for Law and Justice, this has bought him vast influence to create a "post-democratic and supranational" global authority with a network of judges who function as "new clerics" of a universal, secular "religion."
Suffice it to say BLM is awash in cash in order to fundamentally transform America, with over $1 billion being pledged by various corporations to BLM alone.
Mosher believes the president himself clearly understands the Democrats' strategy and how "his political opposition has fanned the flames of our current national conflagration in a deliberate effort to win the November election."
In the president's "magnificent" speech at Mount Rushmore on July 4, Trump showed he "understands the American dream better than any president since Ronald Reagan," Mosher said, and hence what is at stake in protecting it.
"Make no mistake: This left-wing cultural revolution is designed to overthrow the American Revolution," the president declared during his speech. "In so doing, they would destroy the very civilization that rescued billions from poverty, disease, violence and hunger, and that lifted humanity to new heights of achievement, discovery and progress."
Speaking to the perversion of the leftist educational system, which seeks to ensure future strategists, the president said:
Against every law of society and nature, our children are taught in school to hate their own country and to believe that the men and women who built it were not heroes but that they were villains. The radical view of American history is a web of lies — all perspective is removed, every virtue is obscured, every motive is twisted, every fact is distorted and every flaw is magnified until the history is purged and the record is disfigured beyond all recognition.
To the strategy's end game, Trump said, "In toppling the heroes of 1776, they seek to dissolve the bonds of love and loyalty that we feel for our country, and that we feel for each other. Their goal is not a better America; their goal is the end of America."
Mosher sees parallels between China's 1966–1976 Cultural Revolution and what's now occurring in the United States with the Democrats' encouragement of Antifa and BLM.
"Mao used the Red Guards to destroy his political enemies in the Party and government, and then when the Red Guards finished their work, brought in the military to arrest the Red Guards and send them down to the countryside to do manual labor," Mosher noted.
"The Dems are using their radicals to undermine the presidency of Donald Trump and prevent his re-election, but it's anybody's guess what they will do if they succeed," he added.
"If they succeed" is the question.
To do that, Mosher said, Democratic strategists "need to convince the American people that it is Trump's supposed 'racism' and 'white supremacy' that are driving the protests."
"Good ol' Joe will only be seen as the savior who can restore calm to a troubled America if he — and the Democrats in general — are not directly linked to the current chaos," he explained.
And "with the help of the corporate media, the academic world and the social media giants," he predicts that "there is a good chance that Dem-supporting leftists can keep their radical ties under wraps long enough for the party to get back in power."
"If the American people come to realize that the riots and destruction were aided and abetted by Dem-supporting leftists, it's game over in November," he concluded.
"Every American needs to understand this as well," he urged. "The present unrest is not about race, and never has been. It is about so terrorizing the country and so traumatizing the American people that they will turn in despair to Joe Biden to save it."
