Meghan Rohrer: "I use they, their and them as my preferred pronouns."

The Reverend Meghan Rohrer, a biological woman whose grooming and attire is distinctly masculine, is now bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Rohrer: "If you can't imagine Christ was gay, why? Is there something God couldn't be?"

The first so-called transgender bishop in Christendom is the latest milestone in the slippery slope that began with the Anglican Lambeth Conference of 1930. That was the first time any Christian denomination OK'd contraception — and only then for married people in emergency situations. That crack in the door laid the foundation for Protestants to follow the logic all the way to transgender bishops.

Rohrer: "Yes, I get to serve openly."

The Catholic Church is no stranger to the smoke of Satan, even with Christ's promise the Holy Spirit will guide Her in the truths of salvation and that the gates of Hell will not prevail.

Abp. Fulton Sheen: "Our blessed Lord says the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it — against the Church."

When dissident clergy and theologians rejected Humanae Vitae in 1968, it was evident something was off in the Catholic clergy. Surveys now indicate up to 40% have same-sex attraction disorder.

Michael Voris: "This plague of homosexual clergy has got to be put to an end."

And it may be up to 60% in religious orders.

Wisconsin priest: "I am a gay priest and a celibate priest. ... The unwritten comment is 'don't talk about it. We know you're there but be silent.'"

A feminized clergy sympathetic to the sin of sodomy will not speak out clearly on other sexual deviations.

Bp. Vincent Long: "We should learn to be an inclusive Church."

In 1994, Pope St. John Paul II made it clear — only men could be ordained priests. And in 2005, the Church again reiterated that men with homosexual tendencies are not to be ordained to the priesthood. In 2008, the Vatican even added men of "uncertain sexual identity" to those unfit for priesthood.

Fr. James Martin: "So they feel unwelcome in their own church."

The smoke of Satan isn't in Church doctrine, but in those who seek to change it from within. The failure of clergy to stand up against the moral evils of our time has led to much confusion on what it means to be human, with countless souls being lost.
