Since Donald Trump was elected president in 2016, Democrats have been calling for the abolition of the Electoral College — the group of people that actually elects the president of the United States.
The Electoral College determines the president because the Framers of the U.S. Constitution wanted a safeguard in place to protect the many from the tyranny of the few. But with all the socialist upheaval engulfing America, the country is in for a historic election — one that is testing just how much the Framers of our country could have foreseen.
On Thursday, President Trump spoke at the National Archives in recognition of Constitution Day. He declared:
We will never submit to tyranny. We will reclaim our history and our country for citizens of every race, color, religion, and creed. The radicals burning American flags want to burn down the principles enshrined in our founding documents, including the bedrock principle of equal justice under law. In order to radically transform America, they must first cause Americans to lose confidence in who we are, where we came from and what we believe.
Not since the American Revolution have freedom-minded individuals had to stand up so much for the God-given and self-evident principles enshrined in our Constitution — the notion "that all men are created equal" and "are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights," and that among these are "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
But with massive election fraud and orchestrated social chaos that many anticipate is being engineered by state and federal Democrats, leftist social media and the establishment media, the basic tenets of our nation are in danger. The plan to stall the election results threatens to enmesh the nation into a constitutional crisis that history will frown upon.
