Many people seem to be oblivious to the level of evil encompassing the world today. The 20th century was the single bloodiest in human history — with communism and abortion being the top killers.

But only 20 years into the 21st century, it seems like the bloodshed and evil are growing while people are getting more indifferent.

According to the Guttmacher Institute, an apologist for abortion, there have been over 1.6 billion abortions in the world since 1980. Since 1973, when abortion was legalized in the United States, nearly 63 million unborn children have been murdered in their mothers' wombs.

That worldwide number (1.6 billion) is far more than the nearly 150 million people murdered by communism in the last century. But there's no indication the death trends will be slowing down.

Unelected president Joe Biden's administration is the most pro-Marxist, pro-sodomy and pro-abortion administration in U.S. history. Biden has promised to enshrine into law taxpayer-funded abortion for any reason, calling it a human right.

And for those children fortunate enough to have parents who don't want to murder them in the womb, there are degenerates out there who proudly sing, "We're coming for your children. ... The gay agenda is coming home, the gay agenda is here."

There has been a massive movement among education officials to sexualize children, destroying their innocence and purity. It's especially evident in the gender confusion being foisted upon kids (like the now 14-year-old Desmond Napoles).

In 2018, he was a social media sensation — a "drag kid." He dressed up like a girl and danced suggestively at gay pride events.

Another boy, going by the name Jazz Jennings, was featured in a reality TV show. It showed how his parents advocated hormone therapy and eventually allowed their son to be maimed by so-called bottom surgery.

These things happened in front of millions of Americans, and the entertainment and media industries worked overtime to make these things seem normal. Despite the revolting nature of these offenses against childhood innocence, there was little to no kickback from concerned people.

The same apathetic rot extends to the Church. A shock wave was sent through the ranks of the U.S. bishops when one of them dared to suggest Biden's pro-infanticide policies created a "difficult and complex" situation.

Since then, the impotent and feckless shepherds have clarified they will allow the sin of sacrilege to continue unabated. Biden and other self-proclaimed Catholic politicians who support anti-Catholic ideologies will be allowed to damn themselves unimpeded.

In the minds of many Catholics, however, none of these things are serious issues. Babies are being savagely murdered, children are being targeted for perversion and bishops are perfectly content to let souls hurl themselves headlong into Hell.
