WASHINGTON (ChurchMilitant.com) - Pro-life organizations around the country are speaking out on what many consider the most radically anti-life presidential ticket in U.S. history.
Life advocates wasted no time Wednesday condemning the Biden-Harris duo as "the most pro-abortion ticket in history." One political action committee (PAC), Women Speak Out, has already released a video ad on Tuesday to run in seven battleground states, blasting the candidates as "pro-abortion fanatics."
"Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, the most extreme pro-abortion ticket in American history," the ad begins. "And [they have] the agenda to prove it: a pro-abortion Supreme Court and abortion-on-demand, even at nine months, up to the moment of birth — all with your tax dollars."
The Women Speak Out PAC is the campaign arm of the Susan B. Anthony List, whose "mission is to end abortion by electing national leaders and advocating for laws that save lives ... ."
The group's ad further highlights the Biden-Harris tandem as being in lockstep with many other Democrats on "post-birth abortion."
"So extreme. Biden and Harris believe babies who survive abortions should be left to die. Disturbing views, troubling policies. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are pro-abortion fanatics," states the PAC's video ad.
The ad is set to run in Arizona, Florida, Michigan, Montana, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
Other prominent pro-life groups have also spoken out on the pro-abortion extremists that the Democratic Party has chosen as their presumptive nominees.
Lila Rose, founder of Live Action, tweeted on Tuesday about Harris' dealings with the scandal involving Planned Parenthood's sale of baby body parts that was exposed by David Daleiden's Center for Medical Progress (CMP).
"Harris abused her power as CA Attorney General [AG] to raid the home of @daviddaleiden. She prosecuted pro-life journalists when they dared investigate @ppfa's selling of baby parts. She supports killing babies up until birth," Rose wrote.
Rose addressed the fact that Daleiden had his apartment raided in 2016 and Harris' officers seized at his home video files with personal information.
"This is no surprise," Daleiden wrote at the time. "Planned Parenthood's bought-and-paid-for AG [Harris] has steadfastly refused to enforce the laws against the baby body parts traffickers in our state, or even investigate them."
A CMP press release commented on what seemed like more than just a coincidence: "While running for U.S. Senate, Harris had a secret, in-person meeting with Planned Parenthood executives in Los Angeles... Two weeks later, Daleiden's home was raided by the California Department of Justice."
Judie Brown, president of American Life League, released her statement on Tuesday, with a reminder of what Harris did to Daleiden when she was attorney general:
With the announcement of Kamala Harris as Joe Biden's running mate, we now have the most pro-abortion ticket in American history. Lest we need reminders, this is the same Democratic Party that has been on the wrong side of every social justice question from slavery to segregation, from its support for Planned Parenthood to its support for Massive Resistance. With the nomination of Biden and Kamala Harris, it is once again on the wrong side of the babies.
Harris is well-known for being the first attorney general in California history to bring charges against an undercover journalist for documenting criminal activity. She demonstrated her complete surrender to Planned Parenthood — a self-admitted racist and white supremacist organization — by being at its beck and call. The fact that Biden would pick her shows his total submission to Planned Parenthood — the operator of the largest abortion chain in the United States.
Brian Burch, president of CatholicVote, weighed in on the Democratic duo.
"Like Joe Biden himself, Kamala Harris favors radical abortion policies including late-term abortion paid for by taxpayers, as well as forcing Catholic religious orders like the Little Sisters of the Poor to provide abortion drugs in their health care plans," he remarked.
Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life, released a statement: "Sadly, both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris see the lives of precious unborn babies as expendable. Joe Biden could not have picked a more extreme, pro-abortion running mate," she noted.
Jeanne Mancini, president of the March for Life, echoed similar sentiments when describing the Biden-Harris pairing:
This Democratic ticket is perhaps the most pro-abortion in history — in favor of radical abortion policies, out of touch with mainstream Americans like abortion on demand through all nine months of pregnancy and paid for by taxpayers. A Biden-Harris administration will translate to a profound lack of protection and respect for the most vulnerable Americans, the unborn.
Kellyanne Conway, White House senior counselor, also was not at a loss for words at the pick of Harris.
"She is for abortion in the ninth month, and if she's not, I want her to say that today," Conway told reporters at the White House. "The Democratic Party platform, basically, is abortion anyone, anytime, anywhere — no restrictions, no regulations."
Conway mentioned the White House recently hosted people who had survived after less than six months in the womb.
"We know people who survive outside of the womb at 22, 23, 24 weeks and on to have great lives, God bless them," she said.
On the other hand, abortion activist group NARAL Pro-Choice America offered rave reviews for Harris, calling her a "reproductive freedom champion."
Planned Parenthood Action Fund president Alexis McGill Johnson also released her glowing statement.
"Throughout her career, she has been a steadfast champion for reproductive rights and health care," Johnson stated. "With this selection, Joe Biden has made it clear that he is deeply committed to not only protecting reproductive rights, but also advancing and expanding them."
Author Peter Schweizer spoke with Breitbart about Harris' failure to prosecute criminally corrupt clergy. While Harris was San Francisco's district attorney, he recalled how she had refused to prosecute cases of priests' sexual abuse following the funding of her campaign by Church lawyers.
