Woke EU officials have turned their hatred toward Hungary and Prime Minister Victor Orbán now that Donald Trump and Brexit seem like "done deals." The animosity has heated up after Hungary passed a child protection law last month. Church Militant's Martina Moyski has more.

Viktor Orbán: "We don't have that kind of law. We have the law on defending the rights of the kids and parents."

The European Union's chief executive Ursula von der Leyen recently warned Hungary it must repeal legislation protecting children or face the full force of EU law.

Ursula von der Leyen: "If Hungary doesn't set things right, the commission will use the powers invested in it as the guardian of the treaties."

Von der Leyen ignored Article 14 of the EU's Charter of Fundamental Rights, which guarantees "the right of parents to ensure the education ... of their children in conformity with their religious ... convictions ... ."

Orbán fielded criticism from those he called "rainbow-flagged prime ministers parading in a phalanx" and confirmed the right of parents to bring up their children as they see fit. 

EU elites are keen on framing the law as an LGBT rights issue.

Von der Leyen: "This law uses the protection of children, to which we are all committed, as an excuse to severely discriminate against people because of their sexual orientation."

Reports are emerging of "serious financial resources" coming from the [George] Soros camp particularly son Alex, an open homosexual with deep ties to the U.S. Democratic Party, to attack Hungary.

One of those now questioning Hungary's child protection law is socialist Member of the European Parliament Cyrus Engerer. He was convicted in a Maltese court for distributing pornographic material.
