A Jesuit university is being sued for using its jab mandate to stomp on religious exemptions. Two devout Catholic brothers who were denied an exemption and forced to forego their education for not being jabbed are fighting back. Church Militant's William Mahoney recently spoke with the organization helping them.
Brian Festa: "And this is a supposedly Catholic, Jesuit institution … ."
Civil rights attorney Brian Festa is the founder of We the Patriots USA, a legal service company helping the Kozic brothers fight for their God-given rights against Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
The Jesuit university is denying religious exemptions across the board.
And since the brothers refused the jab, tainted with aborted fetal cells, Creighton kicked them off campus and won't let them back on.
Brian Festa: "These are two brothers — like I said, devout Catholics. They thought they were attending a Catholic — a Jesuit — university, and then, lo and behold, they're told, 'No, you're not allowed to assert your Catholic beliefs as a basis for objecting to these shots.'"
On the university website, the Jesuit president of Creighton boasts "students are currently more than 95% vaccinated."
While the university rejects all religious exemptions, the lawsuit notes it does "allow for submission and consideration of medical exemptions."
Contrary to many in the hierarchy, who purport vaccines' connection to abortion is remote, Festa explained the brothers rightfully want no connection to abortion.
Brian Festa: "I don't care that it was three decades ago or four decades ago when the cell lines were actually harvested. That doesn't make it any less wrong."
We the Patriots is steadily building a track record of victories. If Creighton wants to dig in its heels, Festa is confident the Jesuit university would be pushing itself into quicksand.
