A Catholic pro-life group is calling the faithful to end abortion through the Rosary. Participants commit to a weekly Rosary with the specific intentions of ending all manner of abortion and shuttering every Planned Parenthood facility. Church Militant's William Mahoney spoke today with the group's director of public policy.
Dwain Currier: "You can see a Marian blue wave literally splashing across the United States."
Dwain Currier of American Life League (ALL) ― the country's first grassroots, Catholic pro-life education group, founded in 1979 ― explained how a fake Catholic governor and real Catholic bishop got the ball rolling for the organization's Rosary initiative, Marian Blue Wave, which launched in 2019.
Dwain Currier:
Andrew Cuomo, the then-governor of New York, signed legislation [that] said a mother can get an abortion at any time during her pregnancy — all nine months. … [T]he then-governor then lit up the Andrew Cuomo bridge pink, the World Trade Center — that was lit up pink. … Bishop Strickland of Tyler, Texas — he had this idea. He said, "We need a Marian blue wave across this country in order to rid this country of abortion violence." We took that as a call to action.
Once a week, participants add to their Rosary the specific intentions to end abortion and remove Planned Parenthood from the face of the earth.
In the two years since the Marian blue wave began, Planned Parenthood has undergone some interesting changes.
Dwain Currier:
In the first year of the Marian Blue Wave, we saw two miracles. The first one was that Planned Parenthood across the country admitted to being a racist organization; they admitted to racism within their own organization. ... Also that year, we saw the most Planned Parenthoods close their doors at a rate never seen before. They shut down — I think — 30 facilities that year.
If the Marian Blue Wave continues to swell, ALL trusts it's only a matter of time before America's abortion industry succumbs to the Rosary tsunami.
