Congress is making progress towards more government involvement in American families. Fake-Catholic Joe Biden's trillion-dollar spending package includes childcare assistance from the State. In tonight's In-Depth Report, Church Militant's Hunter Bradford exposes the most recent Marxist attack on the heart of the family.
Joe Biden, unelected president of the United States: "No one should have to choose between a job and a paycheck — or taking care of themselves and their loved ones or parent or spouse or child."
That was unelected president Joe Biden talking about the billions of dollars spent towards "helping" families with children. The provisions will provide free preschool, paid family leave and an enhanced child tax credit.
Biden: "If I've heard it once, I've heard it a thousand times: Joe, any country that out-educates us is going to out-compete us."
Funding childcare and preschool is a tried-and-true method of luring women out of the home and into the workforce. What's the upshot? Disrupted family life, as the government raises children, not the parents.
In his encyclical Casti Connubii, Pope Pius XI blasted the idea of work outside the home "emancipating" women: "This, however, is not the true emancipation of woman; it is rather the debasing of the womanly character and the dignity of motherhood."
Pope Pius XI was just repeating what the Catechism of the Council of Trent taught. The Roman Catechism exhorts women "to pay particular attention to their domestic concerns. The wife should love to remain at home, unless compelled by necessity to go out."
Canadian psychologist Dr. Jordan B. Peterson advocates for a different way of thinking about women working than most do.
Dr. Jordan B. Peterson, author and erstwhile University of Toronto professor: "We can start by admitting that the idea that [what] most 19-year-old women are fed — which is that their career will be the primary purpose of their life — is actually a lie."
This push to expand tax-funded schooling comes at a time when many parents are expressing outrage over critical race theory and LGBT indoctrination in public schools. As government tightens its grip over forming children's minds, critics believe the indoctrination will only get worse.
According to Associated Press, states would be encouraged to enroll in both the childcare provisions as well as the universal preschool option in Biden's bill.
