English is the most important language in the world today. And Fr. Thomas Rosica is the papal spokesman for the English-speaking world. But not everyone is happy with his performance at the Synod. Despite the fact that Synod Fathers said homosexuality was barely mentioned in discussions, Fr. Rosica somehow managed to bring up the topic in multiple press conferences.
To make things worse, a homosexual activist was given a press pass, which was denied to legitimate journalists. As the English head of the Holy See Press Office, Fr. Rosica would have at the very least some knowledge of the heavy-handed tactics in the Synod Press Hall.
So is it gross incompetence, or something more sinister?
