If sex change is a fraud, why do doctors participate? The answer is disappointing. The motive is often nothing more profound than simple greed. Sex change operations require extensive surgery that runs to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars. Furthermore, patients need to return for follow-up surgeries and hormones. All in all, it's a very lucrative business.
Being surgeons and not psychologists, for those who perform sex-change operations, any interest in the patient's well-being ends with the last check being cashed. Others will have to deal with the extreme sociological and psychological costs of sex-change therapy. Sex-change surgeons drive home in a nice car with a fat wallet. Of all those involved in the transgender movement, they are among the few who enjoy a "happy" ending —the transgenders themselves often end up alone and attempting suicide.
