On December 31, 2015, one of the largest outbreaks of sexual violence in modern European history took place in Germany, and it was concentrated right in front of the most recognizable symbol of German Catholicism: the Cologne Cathedral. The aftermath saw more than 1,000 complaints filed to police, with more than 460 of them including some sort of sexual crime, from verbal abuse to rape.
According to eyewitnesses, groups of "North African or Arabic" men would surround women, groping them while trying to take their possessions. Nevertheless, local media often downplayed or covered up the fact that Muslim "refugees" were the culprits.
From 1997 to 2013 in Rotherham, South Yorkshire in England, Pakistani gangs sexually assaulted hundreds of native English girls, aged 12 and up. A report on the crimes — which left more than 1,400 victims total — blamed the local government's failure to step in and break up the heinous activity on "political correctness." Essentially, the authorities who should have acted swiftly were hesitant about the matter for fear of "racist" backlash against the Muslim migrants.
More and more evidence indicates that wherever Muslim migrants are invited into a country, rape rates increase dramatically. And yet such statistics are usually hidden, because polite society lives in perpetual fear of being deemed "racist." That's a curious concern, given that the races of those guilty of the sexual crimes are only correlations, not causes.
The cause isn't the race of the migrants; it's the religion. A substantial number of the Muslim migrants to Europe (namely those from the Wahhabist Sunni sect) believe they have a divine right to the women of those with whom they're at war. And since many Islamic scholars and Muslim leaders insist there's a war at hand between Islam and the West (the infidels), a lot of devout Muslims behave as if native European women are effectively their spoils of war, i.e., their sex slaves.
It is this belief that results in Muslim migrants limiting their sexual crimes simply to whatever they think they can get away with. As political commentator Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch states, "The seizure of Infidel girls and their use as sex slaves is sanctioned in the Qur'an."
Or, as one Islamic professor in Egypt recently put it, "The female prisoners of wars are 'those whom you own.' In order to humiliate them, they become the property of the army commander, or of a Muslim, and he can have sex with them just like he has sex with his wives."
This is the mindset of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), which bases its brazen military ambition on the idea that God has created the world for Muslims, and it's just their religious duty to claim it all for themselves. Non-Muslim lands, possessions and women are really, they insist, the rightful lands, possessions and women of Muslims. Therefore, to take them for themselves isn't wrong. A non-Muslim's purse is supposedly the rightful belonging of a Muslim. A non-Muslim's country is in fact supposed to be a Muslim's country. And a non-Muslim woman is claimed to be the rightful belonging of a Muslim man.
So when feminists complain, as they often do, of a "rape culture," they are onto something real, though unintentionally. Only, it isn't "white male frat culture" — it's Wahabbist Sunni Islam, the very group for which leftist politics remains an outspoken champion.
