They say that the surest way to totalitarianism is to break down the family. And new statistics show that we may not be that far off. Church Militant's Paul Murano takes a look at the destruction of marriage and the family, as Satan's plan now includes over a million same-sex households.

First, contraception was popularized with the invention of "the pill." Then, fornication (premarital sex) became the norm. With that, the abortion and divorce culture was born. Cohabitation of unmarrieds went from an aberration to commonplace. And now, there are over one million same-sex households in America.

While Congress prepares to codify into federal law sodomitic so-called marriage, stats show there are 1.2 million same-sex households as of 2021, an increase of 120% since 2008.

According to Pew Research, the United States already had the highest rate of single-parent homes in the world. Along with same-sex couples, fornicating, cohabiting couples and single adults living alone — many of whom are addicted to pornography — are also increasing. Families in natural and sacramental marriages are diminishing. And a very small fraction of those are contraception-free. 

These arrangements and behaviors are objective mortal sins, yet, at the dawn of our post-Christian age, most people don't seem to care.

These latest stats only add to the unfolding of what Sr. Lucia of Fátima revealed: The Devil's final war seeks to destroy marriage and family life.

Around a quarter of all children in the United States live in single-parent homes. With the increase of sodomites adopting, the number of children raised outside the natural order will increase.
