The world watched in horror earlier this week as thousands attempted to flee Afghanistan as the nation fell under the shadow of the Taliban. Some even attempted to save themselves from the new regime by clinging to departing aircraft, only to fall to their deaths from the heights.

Tragically, the impotent Biden administration, instead of developing rescue plans, continues to play the blame game. A substantive rescue plan has not yet been implemented: nothing done to save U.S. citizens stranded behind enemy lines; no plans enacted to save any Afghanis who have aided the United States for the last 20 years; no plans enacted to rescue the many thousands of Christians now condemned to death because of the Faith.

This comes after roughly two decades of military presence in Afghanistan. Some 6,000 American lives have been lost, and the United States has spent more than $2 trillion on the war there.

Each man, each leader has defining moments that reveal everything — that show the whole world his true character. The fall of Afghanistan has proven to be for the entire world such a window to the true character of Biden.

And for all those who voted for Biden during this last election and placed propaganda stickers and so forth on their homes and cars: This is your time to atone for your sin! This man is not fit to govern! How could you imagine that his man who campaigned from his basement was fit to govern?

Due to his impotent response to the Taliban, a new era of terrorism has been ushered in. If what is playing out now in Afghanistan is not stopped, you can bet everything that within the next couple of weeks, hundreds, if not thousands, of Afghanistan's Christians will be executed upon the Taliban's altar of sacrifice to the demons they worship. This trajectory is certain if not altered through some immediate intervention, change of heart or action.

What is playing out for Biden is his Dunkirk moment, but it's far different from the original. Recall that with Germany's swift takeover of the continent of Europe at the beginning of World War II, hundreds of thousands of allied troops were stranded on the beaches of Dunkirk.

Winston Churchill and the beaches of Dunkirk

Thankfully, U.K. prime minister Winston Churchill did not sit back and do nothing. Instead, he ingeniously called each and every available man with a boat able to cross the channel to do so, to save those stranded behind enemy lines. Churchill's creative initiative succeeded. To his everlasting credit, over 330,000 Allied troops were rescued!

Yes, 16,000 French soldiers and 1,000 British soldiers died on the beaches of Dunkirk, and many more soldiers were permanently injured. But Churchill did something quite exceptional to save as many lives as possible. And because of his swift action, thousands of soldiers were saved and the Allies were afforded the hope that all was not lost!

What are Biden and his administration doing today to end the evil playing out in Afghanistan? They're basically scrambling to pick up the pieces after the fact. You would think that with all the technology and military assets the United States has at its disposal, something can be done.

Something needs to be done to at least give the U.S. citizens still behind enemy lines safe passage out, let alone the many Christians and Afghan operatives who now have targets on their backs.

Something needs to be done to give U.S. citizens still behind enemy lines safe passage out.

This is Biden's defining moment in history. He will not be given a second opportunity to define himself as a president, as a leader. Thus far, he is leading America to its rapid demise as a nation and as a world power.

If Biden does not act today or at least sometime soon, the Taliban and other enemies of America will be emboldened by this easy Taliban victory. What nation will fall next? Thousands died on September 11, 2001. How many more will now die owing to the administration's clumsy handling of the withdrawal from Afghanistan?
