Dr. Leana Wen: "Which way we go depends on what we do now when it comes to vaccination."
A former Planned Parenthood director is proposing ways to make your life miserable for being pro-choice — on vaccines.
When it comes to being vaccinated, Dr. Leana Wen, former Planned Parenthood director and now CNN contributor, is not promoting the mantra "My body, my choice."
Wen: "It needs to be hard for people to remain unvaccinated. Right now it's kind of the opposite. It's fine, I mean it's easy if you're unvaccinated. You can do everything you want to do anyway."
Wen represents the Leftist mentality that murdering defenseless preborn babies is a sacrosanct right.
Wen: "Abortion is a standard medical procedure that one in four American women will have in their lifetime. It's part of the full spectrum of reproductive health care."
But then says exercising your choice to not get the vaccine ought to come with severe consequences.
Wen:
At some point these mandates by workplaces, by schools — I think it will be important to say, "Hey, you can opt out, but if you want to opt out you have to sign these forms, you have to get twice-weekly testing." Basically, we need to make getting vaccinated the easy choice. That is what it's going to take for us to actually end the pandemic."
According to Wen, it's not her that's making the vaccines political.
Wen: "When other people have made health care political, it's our duty to fight back with everything we have because it's about people's lives."
If you read between the lines, you can see the parallel the Left makes between vaccination and abortion. Both are called "health care" in their targeting of so-called unwanted parasites, whether it be a deadly virus or a preborn baby. And the Left doesn't want people to make an informed choice on either one. They don't want women to see their babies through ultrasound before choosing abortion. Similarly, they scoff at the idea of being fully informed on vaccines before taking one.
Wen: "We have a vaccine that's safe and effective. We should absolutely be taking that as well."
With regard to "My body, my choice," the truth is the unborn child is not part of a woman's body. Yet, people like Dr. Wen have an aversion to you choosing to forgo putting an experimental vaccine into what is actually your body.
