For the first time, the parents of young victims of SSPX priest Fr. Frédéric Abbet are going public, revealing their dealings with Society leadership — including Bp. Bernard Fellay, whom they accuse of deceiving them repeatedly. Meanwhile, Fr. Abbet — convicted of child sex crimes in 2017 and sentenced to five years in prison in Belgium — fled to Switzerland and roams free in the town of Fully.
