Michael Voris calls out Oprah Winfrey for saying on her popular show that "God is the essence of all consciousness."

Bad philosophy makes for bad theology. Revelation needs pondering and communicating. Both of these are done in a language and that language is called philosophy. This is why philosophy is called the handmaid of theology and why Voris says, "Bad philosophy leads to bad theology."

To make God out to be some "collective consciousness" is pantheism because it makes everyone God. This is, of course, a popular error as angels and men becoming God is the perennial temptation. It's the reason why both Lucifer and Adam fell.

It's always been a popular temptation for those who want to make up their own rules without conforming their lives to God's will. This is the main reason why many are so easily duped into believing such New Age nonsense.

Watch the panel discuss the peddling of the New Age movement in Friday's Download—The One True Faith Revisited: Oprah—False Profit. This week's topics on The Download include the Ascension and gender wars, among others.
