Conservative news sources like Drudge Report, a news aggregator founded by Matt Drudge featured above, along with many other citizen journalists, keep thwarting attempts to suppress the truth made by Left-leaning media and their lapdog social media platforms.
Same-stream media first took shape in radio followed by newspaper and then Television. Citizen journalism, however, has come into its own more recently with the rise of the internet, which accommodated social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and many others. The power of social media was clearly seen by the Establishment following the presidential election that seated Donald Trump in the Oval Office. Measures by social media platforms to suppress the truth coming from conservative journalists have been ratcheting up ever since.
Last week, Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of the social media giant Facebook, announced he would be "dialing up the intensity" on suppressing so-called "fake news." This suppression will be targeting mainly conservative news sites like Church Militant, Diamond and Silk, Louder With Crowder and many others. Zuckerberg made known that his system has already sidelined many sites.
"We deployed AI tools that have taken down tens of thousands of accounts," admitted Zuckerberg.
Explaining exactly how he was going to suppress what he considered to be fake news sites, Zuckerberg said Facebook would ask users how they "feel" about the trustworthiness of certain publications. "We put [that data] into the system," explained Zuckerberg, "and it is acting as a boost or a suppression, and we're going to dial up the intensity of that over time."
This suppression is felt by conservative sites like Breitbart, Drudge Report, Church Militant and many others. That's the reason Church Militant is asking viewers to come directly to their site for videos and articles rather than believe this content will be faithfully delivered to them by social media platforms like Facebook, who are known to be suppressing the truth.
