We are in an all-out war. Right now — this very second — there is a life and death battle raging all around us. The fact that many people don't, or won't, acknowledge it is just one tool of the enemy.

Saint Paul, in his epistle to the Ephesians, admonishes us:

Be clothed in the armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the treachery of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against the directors of this world of darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in high places.

Because of this, take up the armor of God, so that you may be able to withstand the evil day and remain perfect in all things. Therefore, stand firm, having been girded about your waist with truth, and having been clothed with the breastplate of justice, and having feet which have been shod by the preparation of the Gospel of peace.

He goes on to say:

In all things, take up the shield of faith, with which you may be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the most wicked one. And take up the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit (which is the Word of God).

This is the battle of our times. There's a general awareness among both Catholics and non-Catholics that evil has increased, and it continues at a shocking pace.

Within the last few decades, the evil one's plans are accelerating, and evil is taking more and more control of individuals and society in general. In fact, it shows no indication of slowing down. The last 70 years have seen the normalization and institutionalization of every vice.

Besides the Marxist infiltration of the media, educational institutions and politics, we're seeing that satanic ideals of communism have infiltrated into the hierarchy of the Church.

But there is a solution. While Hell has accelerated the war for souls, Heaven has not left us here to fight for ourselves.

Our Lady Herself, She who crushes the head of the serpent, She whose humility subjugates the demons and causes all Hell to tremble, has given us the weapon by which we can fight as Her faithful and true soldiers.

The Rosary is the weapon for our times, the way by which we can conquer the world, the flesh and the devil.
