It's bishop against bishop and cardinal against cardinal when it comes to sacrilegious reception of Holy Communion. While some prelates want to vote on what they call "Eucharistic coherence," others signed a letter to oppose such a vote, wanting to continue handing over Our Lord to fake Catholics like Joe Biden. Church Militant's William Mahoney looks at the usual suspects and one surprise.

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, or USCCB, is slated to discuss a document on "Eucharistic Coherence" at its meeting this month.

But 68 prelates want to kibosh that conversation.

Forty-seven of the signatories are diocesan bishops, while 21 are auxiliaries.

Among the diocesan bishops are five cardinals: Chicago's Blase Cupich, New York's Timothy Dolan, Washington's Wilton Gregory,  Boston's Seán O'Malley and Newark's Joseph Tobin.

Six additional non-cardinal archbishops also signed the letter.

Those include St. Louis' Mitchell Rozanski, Santa Fe's John Wester and Seattle's Paul Etienne, whose brother, a vicar general in Indiana, Fr. Bernie Etienne, once slandered Church Militant from the pulpit and blamed the "ultra-conservative faction" for the woes of the world.

Other unsurprising signatories include San Diego's Robert McElroy, who thinks climate change kills more people than abortion; Lafayette's Timothy Doherty, who caved to a non-Catholic group's demands, suspending a priest for explaining Black Lives Matter Inc. is a Marxist group; and El Paso's Mark Seitz, who is fine with the Vatican's border wall, but opposes the United States having one.

Another signer — perhaps less known but just as unorthodox — is Bridgeport's bishop, Frank Caggiano.

Caggiano is chairman of the board for Catholic Relief Services, the USCCB's nominally Catholic charity arm that promotes contraception and has in its referral network the nation's largest abortion chain, Planned Parenthood.

Surprisingly, Jefferson City's Bp. Shawn McKnight signed the letter.

McKnight came out strong in the wake of revelations regarding notorious homosexual pederast, ex-cardinal Theodore McCarrick.

He called for the laity to be more involved in cleaning up the mess of clergy sex abuse.

Signers Cupich and Tobin have a track record of protecting the homosexual subculture of cover-up in the hierarchy and defending leftist politics at the expense of Our Eucharistic Lord.

With these two on the Congregation for Bishops, kingmakers advising the pope on making bishops worldwide, corruption in the hierarchy seems to have no end in sight.

Cardinal Dolan is currently being suedalong with NAC, the North American College seminary in Rome — for misconduct against subordinates, abuse cover-up and retaliation against whistleblowers.
