After months of liberal polling agencies showing Trump on the ropes, the most reliable polling agency is showing voters are trending toward Trump.
Rasmussen polling — one of only a very few to actually call 2016 correctly as well as the closest to actual results — is showing things coming up roses for the incumbent.
In its Daily Tracking Poll released Wednesday — it shows Trump's approval rating tied for its highest level in his presidency — 52%.
That was the same number in September of 2019.
However, on two major issues — the economy and national security — Trump has achieved his highest ratings ever from likely voters.
A solid 52% approve of his handling of the economy and 49% give him good marks for national security.
Rasmussen has the most historically accurate record in calling U.S. presidential elections and was the most accurate last election cycle in 2016.
The news prompted a tweet from the White House reflecting the administration's pleasure.
There was no comment from team Biden.
This good news for team Trump was on top of earlier Rasmussen polling today revealing Trump, for the first time, pulling ahead of Biden nationally among likely voters at 47%–46%, respectively.
