Biden would quickly rescind in favor of death

WASHINGTON ( - While Joe Biden prematurely gathers a presidential cabinet to implement a policy agenda favorable to the Culture of Death, the Trump administration is keeping busy with a solid pro-life agenda.

John Barsa, acting administrator of USAID

John Barsa, acting administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), announced in October that there would be a renewed effort to clamp down on abortion-related restrictions for all foreign assistance. The policy to enforce pro-life restrictions, known as the "Mexico-City Policy," is preserving countless lives around the world.

In a press release, Barsa declared the new emphasis of the United States under the Trump administration.

"The U.S. Agency for International Development is committed to the well-being of all women and children and to ensuring all of our partners are in compliance with abortion-related legal restrictions and the Protecting Life in Global Health Assistance (PLGHA) Policy," he stated.

Since the Trump administration has expanded the Mexico City Policy, it now goes under its new name, abbreviated as "PLGHA."

In contrast, former vice president and heretical Catholic Joe Biden has an anti-life agenda that he will undoubtedly implement should he ascend to the White House. Church Militant reached out to Steven Mosher of the Population Research Institute (PRI) for his take on what is at stake in this 2020 election process. According to Mosher:

On Joe Biden's first day in office, he will rescind the Mexico City Policy and generously fund organizations overseas that promote, perform and lobby for the legalization of abortion — often against the laws of the country that they are operating in.

This is what Democrat presidents ... always do. They fund abortion, they promote euthanasia and they seek, by every means possible, to drive down the birth rate. In short, they promote death.

In one of his first acts as president, in 2017, Trump proposed a new rule to extend the Mexico City Policy, now PLGHA, which bans U.S. foreign aid dollars from being given to foreign non-governmental organizations (NGOs) such as International Planned Parenthood Federation. The policy, which prohibits assistance with or promotion of the performance of abortion overseas, now extends to all federal government contracts.

PLGHA has been one of President Trump's greatest achievements in his campaign to protect the unborn, according to PRI. It has helped to ensure that no U.S. tax money gets applied to foreign organizations that perform or promote abortion.

Church Militant asked Stefano Gennarini, J.D., vice president for the Center of Legal Studies at the New York- and Washington, D.C.-based Center of Family and Human Rights (C-FAM), if he thought PLGHA was in danger should Biden take office:

In all likelihood, yes. Biden is on record against the Mexico City Policy. Like Obama, he will revoke the policy on day one of his presidency. In fact, Biden may try and go a step further by trying to undermine the Helms Amendment and step up U.S. abortion advocacy internationally.

The Helms Amendment was passed by Congress in 1973 in the wake of the Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade ruling. It limits U.S. foreign assistance for abortion.

Barsa has articulated what the rule entails for all USAID recipients and has confirmed the Trump administration's commitment to enforcing the rule.

PLGHA has been one of President Trump's greatest achievements in protecting the unborn.

Compliance activities, he has stated, include "training, implementation, monitoring and documentation" as well as "possible sanctions and consequences for non-compliance."

A letter outlining the expectations of the expanded Mexico City Policy is, as a matter of course, sent to aid recipients. In part, the letter states: "As a recipient of funding from USAID, your organization must abide by the applicable restrictions set forth in the standard provisions included in your award."

Elections have consequences. Since Joe Biden and Kamala Harris maintain that contraception and abortion — the respective prevention and killing of preborn human beings — are "health care," a Biden administration will move quickly to expand the Culture of Death internationally, just as it will within the United States.
