Following the report by special counsel Robert Mueller vindicating President Donald Trump of colluding with Russia, a U.S. congressman is saying the real collusion is between socialist Democrats and fake news media in foisting this hoax on the American people.

Congressman Morris Brooks (R-Ala.) in a press release on Sunday is saying Mueller's report "completely vindicates President Trump." He goes on to accuse Democrats of trumping up false charges with the media covering for them:

Socialist Democrats and their fake news media allies have searched far and wide for evidence of an impeachable offense. They have made up nonexistent allegations and baseless "facts." They have jointly engaged in the most sordid "fake news" propaganda campaign in American history. After more than 2 1/2 years of FBI investigation followed by tens of millions of taxpayer dollars spent on the Mueller probe, the truth is revealed. Socialist Democrat and fake news media Russian Collusion allegations have been exposed as nothing more than a collective scam and fraud perpetrated on the American people to not only delegitimize the duly elected President of the United States but also for the crass purpose of accumulating political power.

Mainstream media not only was complacent in not vetting the merits of the story of Trump's supposed collusion with Russia to secure the 2016 presidential election, but also seems to be complicit as far back as 2017 in pushing the story which they knew was fake. This was made evident by an undercover video from Project Veritas, which talked to a CNN producer in June 2017.

CNN producer John Bonifield was caught on film admitting that the Trump-Russia narrative is "mostly bull****."

"I haven't seen any good enough evidence to show that the President committed a crime," said Bonifield. "I just feel like they don't really have it but they want to keep digging. And so I think the President is probably right to say, like, look you are witch hunting me. You have no smoking gun, you have no real proof."

Bonifield added that the media is simply "a business" and often is grossly lacking journalistic integrity.
