The China-communist virus has allowed nations to impose draconian restrictions on citizens in the name of protecting the public's health. Church Militant's Trey Blanton reveals the European nation taking the most drastic measures to date.
Austrian officials announced on Friday that a 10-day lockdown would be imposed on all citizens, jabbed and un-jabbed, beginning on Monday. Citizens took to the streets to protest the measures, which will also force the unvaccinated to remain in lockdown long past the 10 days. Vaccination will become mandatory for everyone by February.
Alexander Tschugguel, Austrian citizen and founder of the Boniface Institute: "If this can happen in a Western country then, you have to know, it can happen in your country as well. It does not stop at the border."
Even now, police are on the hunt for any unvaccinated people who show themselves in public for nonessential purposes, despite more effective and morally acceptable treatment options.
Dr. Daniel Stock reports, "Statistically, significantly, the vaccine increased your risk of overall hospitalization, more than it decreased your risk of COVID-19 hospitalization. It increased your risk of severe morbidity, meaning you missed work or had to take time off activities."
Austria is imposing these measures after COVID cases on Thursday soared past 14,000 — despite two-thirds of the country being vaccinated.
Tschugguel: "We'll pray a Rosary. We're going there and stand for our freedoms and our rights, especially against this tyrannical system, which is pushed upon us on an international level."
If the political elites are allowed to impose their will now, there is no limit they won't cross. Thursday night, protesters in France stood in solidarity chanting, "Freedom for Austria."
