Brad is Church Militant's senior producer. Raised in the great outdoors of Montana, Brad is at home with horses, camping and farm life.
He put his Petroleum Engineering degree to work in Alaska's oil field while enjoying Alaska's rugged outdoors. Catholic from birth, Brad then began devoting more time to reading the Bible, praying the Rosary and attending daily Mass.
At 26, Brad left his occupation in Alaska to follow a religious vocation with a third order Franciscan community in Connecticut. After receiving two master's degrees in theology, Brad taught high school math, science and religion in addition to helping run Catholic summer camps.
After 22 years, the third order community ended, so Brad began working as a writer and producer for St. Michael's Media. Three years later he married a devout Catholic, and God has blessed the couple with two sons.
After attending dozens of retreats over the years and having given many presentations on a variety of religious topics to people of all ages and walks of life, Brad is looking forward to helping transform your life by being a part of this 10th annual Retreat at Sea.
Dr. Jules Gomes is Church Militant's Rome correspondent. He is a biblical scholar, journalist and international speaker who earned his doctorate in the Old Testament from the University of Cambridge. The author of five books and academic articles, Jules has led retreats and seminars for clergy and laity in Britain, France, Israel, Italy, India, and the Isle of Man, and has spoken at international conferences with Tucker Carlson and Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo.
Dr. Gomes lectured in biblical studies, homiletics and Islam at Catholic and Protestant seminaries and universities and was canon theologian and artistic director at Liverpool Cathedral. He enjoys dovetailing art and classical music with Scripture and theology.
Jules graduated with a bachelor's degree in English literature and completed two post-graduate degrees in theology with a specialization in biblical studies before completing his doctorate. He lives in Rome with his wife — a former lecturer in American literature and a radio producer — and a clowder (a bunch of cats)!

They create dishes served by crew members who love to tell stories of their own about where they're from and where they've been. They love to hear your stories too, because food brings people together, especially here.
Enjoy the views, exercise, read, socialize with fellow retreatants, check your emails on your personal devices or at the internet cafe, or just relax and enjoy time for prayer between our complete schedule of functions. Click here to learn more about cruise activities.
