Fauci Again Defends Masking Up
The controversial former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) is once again touting face masks as hospitalizations for a new COVID variant are reportedly on the rise. In a recent interview with CNN, Anthony Fauci expressed his fear that Americans will not mask up if a new strain of the virus — B286 — picks up steam. CNN host Michael Smerconish questioned Fauci about an extensive study showing face masks make no difference in the spread of the disease. Read more
Unmasking the CDC
Critics are wondering why the Centers for Disease Control is claiming it was not planning on reviving mask mandates, despite reports to the contrary. They are also asking why the CDC is no longer collecting data on adverse reactions to COVID-19 vaccinations. A CDC spokesman informed Newsweek on Thursday that, at present, there are no plans to reinstate mask mandates. However, the spokesman did not rule out the possibility if cases of the new variants increase. Read more
Pro-Lifers Convicted in DC
A jury handed guilty verdicts to five pro-lifers on Tuesday, charging them with blocking access to an abortion mill and conspiring to violate civil rights. Each defendant could face up to 11 years in prison. The jury deliberated for a day and a half before convicting each defendant of violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act in connection with a 2020 rescue mission at a late-term abortion mill in the U.S. capital. The FACE Act strictly prohibits individuals from attempting to injure, intimidate or obstruct (using force, threats of force or physical barriers) anyone seeking or performing an abortion. Read more

Disgraced ex-cardinal Theodore McCarrick is scheduled to appear in court today as his trial reaches a conclusion. McCarrick is the highest-ranking Catholic prelate — now defrocked — to face criminal charges in the clergy sex abuse scandal. In addition to today's trial in Massachusetts, McCarrick also faces criminal charges in Wisconsin. Read more

A Jesuit university in the Big Apple is honoring the notorious doctor behind COVID lockdowns and mask mandates, which are allegedly making a comeback. Ohio’s Dangerous and Deceptive ‘Abortion’ Initiative
In just over 60 days, Ohioans will vote on a constitutional amendment that, if accepted, will radically transform their state into a free-for-all death trap for unborn babies. Ohio voters will cast a ballot — yes or no — on the amendment, titled "The Right to Reproductive Freedom With Protections for Health and Safety," on Nov. 7. A victim advocate is calling on the Brooklyn diocese to help a former seminarian who was driven away by a clerical predator. Gene Thomas Gomulka recently wrote two open letters — one to the clergy and laity of the Brooklyn diocese and the other to the laity of Brooklyn's oratory parishes, St. Boniface and Assumption — on behalf of Timothy Passow, who was forced to abandon his pursuit of the priesthood after the novice master tried to groom him. New Orleans Priest Admits to Sexually Abusing Minors
A notorious New Orleans priest removed from ministry recently admitted to reporters that he sexually abused male adolescents and added clergy sex abuse is no longer much of a problem in the Church. On Tuesday, Fr. Lawrence Hecker acknowledged to reporters for WWL-TV in New Orleans and the British newspaper The Guardian that he did, in fact, sexually abuse male adolescents. Read more
Jesuit Law School Advocates Police, Prison Abolition
A prestigious Jesuit law school is offering courses that are openly promoting abortion and LGBT activism and calling for the abolition of the police and prison as legal institutions. Loyola Law School, which stresses that its mission is to provide legal education "as a Catholic institution in the Jesuit and Marymount traditions," is offering courses in "reproductive justice" as "a paradigm for understanding reproductive oppression." Republican and Democratic parents are exposing a school board candidate in Virginia for making fake accounts on Twitter, now known as X, in an attempt to bully them and damage their reputations. Harry Jackson is a former Democrat running on a Republican ticket for the Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) School Board. Pro-lifers in Democrat-run Illinois are taking their strategy up a notch, praying en masse outside of as many abortuaries as they can on Aug. 26. Vision2020, an Illinois pro-life community, is organizing the GoPublic4Life event, designed to unite pro-lifers across the entire state in prayer this Saturday morning from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Participants at various locations will simultaneously spend 90 minutes in prayer, appealing to God for the end of abortion and for a spiritual revival in Illinois.
