Tara Lee Rodas worked for the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services' Unaccompanied Children program. She thought she was there to help place migrant children with their families. She was shocked to discover children were actually being placed with criminals and exploited for labor and sex. When she reported what she saw, the government retaliated against her.
