The problem in the Church these days is a collection of introverted bishops who get run over by more extroverted bishops who are theological progressives. Those are comments from Corpus Christi, Texas retired bishop Rene Gracida — who is a self-identified introvert.

A major infusion of grace to encourage the introverts to stand up and resist is what is needed, according to His Excellency.

This past Christmas, Bp. Gracida was gracious enough to sit down with our Church Militant crew for three hours and share his thoughts on current conditions in the Church.

All this week, "the Vortex" will be bringing you portions of the interview — the complete version of which can be seen by signing up for a subscription to become a Premium member.
