Unelected president Joe Biden said that months ago. But now, it seems he is in favor of forcing people to get vaccinated.
Biden: "This is not about freedom or personal choice. It's about protecting yourself and those around you."
On Thursday, he announced plans to crack down on the 80 million unvaccinated Americans.
Biden: "My message to unvaccinated Americans is this: What more is there to wait for? What more do you need to see? We've been patient, but our patience is wearing thin, and your refusal has cost all of us."
Kamala Harris apparently advocated for less government involvement.
Kamala Harris: "When people are able to make choices without government interference for themselves, in terms of their well-being, we are a stronger society."
Critics argue that a bill in New York, proposed in January, could be the future in America. The law allows the governor or his delegate to "order the removal and/or detention" of persons or groups "by issuing a single order." Those detained aren't necessarily required to have a communicable disease — they can merely be "suspected" of having one.
