Californians Choose Tyranny

Gavin Newsom survives recall effort

September 16, 2021  0

After winning the recall, Gavin Newsom gave a victory speech praising Californians' pledge of support for perversion.

Gavin Newsom: "We said yes to science. We said yes to vaccines. We said yes to women's fundamental constitutional right to decide for herself what she does with her body."

He spoke of diversity, even though Larry Elder would have been California's first Black governor.

The Golden-State governor won over 60% of the vote, with most counties that voted to unseat him being on the eastern side of the state.

Newsom's win means that the problems that both plagued the state and provoked the recall will remain, including restrictions on churches and school shutdowns.

Former Deputy Assistant Attorney General John Yoo: "The reasons why Californians demanded a recount were left unaddressed. The rise in crime, homelessness problems, the closing down of the schools, a sputtering economy, high costs, high gasoline costs."

Some critics of the governor believe his failures since 2018 will lead to a red wave in 2022.

Joe Basrawi, chief strategy officer, Today is America: "The next generation of Americans next year — the Gen Z and Millennials — are going to be the largest voting bloc next year, for '22."

Many Californian small-business owners are worried after last night's recall results.

Tom Del Becarro, former California Republican Party chairman: "What's ahead for small business? Higher taxes, more crime in the street, more homelessness, and all of that remains despite Gavin Newsom's victory."

With Democrats staying in power, California will continue to be a wasteland of liberal policies.
