The Chinese Communist Party, or CCP, is on a genocidal warpath to eradicate religion, but that's just the culture, says Joe Biden.
An anonymous policewoman from a camp in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region reports the CCP has been suppressing Christians, Uyghur Muslims, Buddhists and all believers.
Failure to comply lands religious practitioners in "re-education camps," where she says the detained suffer "unimaginable abuses" and are subject to "horrific torture."
The officer explained, "The Chinese police not only rape them but also electrocute them."
The 1948 Genocide Convention, signed by 152 countries, including China, provides five marks of genocide. Engagement in just one of those marks renders the perpetrator guilty of genocide. But an in-depth legal report published this month by Newlines Institute breaks down how the CCP is violating all five.
The Trump administration did not mince words in condemning the CCP's war against religion.
In early January, former secretary of State Mike Pompeo, explained: "I believe this genocide is ongoing, and that we are witnessing the systematic attempt to destroy Uyghurs by the Chinese party-state."
But when Biden was asked at a town hall mid-February about Uyghur genocide, One American News' Jack Posobiec noted Biden answered with "direct CCP talking points."
Joe Biden: "I'm not going to speak out against what he [China's president, Xi Jinping] is doing in Hong Kong; what he's doing with the Uyghurs in western mountains of China and Taiwan, China and the one-China [sic: "child"] policy by making it forceful. I said [stuttering]. He gets it. Culturally there are different norms that each country and their leaders are expected to follow."
Cardinal Joseph Zen last year addressed what he called a total sellout: "Humanly speaking, the Church is going to disappear — the real Church."
Preparing for the CCP's 100th anniversary come July, the official Catholic Church, an arm of the Communist Party, has prepared a year's work program for Catholics. That program will include formation courses in an attempt to assimilate believers into the Marxist system.
While American bishops have much to say about vaccines, some downplaying the use of fetal tissue and brushing off safety concerns, they're almost unanimously silent on Beijing Biden, calling himself Catholic while brushing off China's genocide.
