Kathy Hochul, New York governor: "I will fight like hell for you every single day."
As multiple women brought sexual abuse claims against Andrew Cuomo, many cheered the fall of the powerful New York governor.
But Church Militant's Martina Moyski questions whether his replacement, Kathy Hochul, the first woman governor in New York, brings change for the better — or more of the same.
Hochul: "I will fight like hell for you every single day."
In light of the recent pro-life victory in Texas, New York's fake Catholic governor Kathy Hochul is casting some shade. She announced Wednesday she's ready to help Texas women come to her state for abortions.
I find it heartbreaking to see women who live in the state of Texas who are denied these basic human rights. For women in Texas, they need to know we will help you find a way to New York. ... Your sisters and brothers — enlightened brothers — will help you any way we can.
Hochul is continuing Cuomo's pro-death legacy, even upping the ante of his radical leftist agenda. She stood by him in 2019 when he signed one of the nation's most radical pro-abortion bills legalizing infanticide.
Like Cuomo, Hochul supports same-sex marriage, slamming her then-challenger for lieutenant governor, fellow Democrat Jumaane Williams, in 2018 for seeing marriage between a man and a woman.
On the day of her swearing-in last month, she honored a late trans icon, tweeting: "May we continue to honor her legacy by ensuring full equality & justice for all LGBTQ New Yorkers."
Some may have expected change when Hochul took the reins from Cuomo, but she's revealing the change for New Yorkers may be one more of intensity than of kind. As it stands, Hochul is the only declared candidate in New York in next year's gubernatorial election.
