Responding to Christophobia

Era of silence must end

February 23, 2021  0

It's becoming more clear that the Left's real target is Christianity.

This is according to several guests on Steve Bannon's War Room over the weekend. The Left is attacking freedom of speech and religion with its ultimate aim to destroy Christ in society.

Bannon: "The real problem here is Christianity."

Cheryl Chumley is editor of the Washington Times, a devout Baptist and author of the book, Socialists Don't Sleep: Christians Must Rise or America Will Fall.

Chumley: "It's all about elevating themselves — the Democrat Party, the Left, the globalists — as God, and stripping the real God from any sort of influence in individuals' lives."

As Chumley tells Catholic Bannon, this goes way beyond politics.

Chumley: "They don't want just your vote in politics. They want to change your heart and mind and soul so you will never again question them."

Non-denominational pastor Francisco Vega, cofounder of Conservative Clergy of Color, agrees on what the Left's target really is.

Vega: "There's an intentional targeting and attack of religious liberties."

Vega believes American patriotism and Christian values go hand in hand.

Vega: "I believe the secular Left's agenda realizes that the passion of patriotism is very much intertwined in religious liberty and First and Second Amendments, and the values that have been ensconced in our nation."

Gab.com CEO Andrew Torba offers his solution to the problem.

Torba: "The economy we see right now with this cancel culture, this rise of critical [race] theory, this rise of State worship over God worship is doomed to failure. ... We need to build our own Christian-centric economy."

Torba believes this movement must extend well beyond the bonds of social communications.

Torba: "Cutting the cable cord ... leaving your big corporate bank and going to a local Christian bank or a Christian credit union."

Chumley concurs with Torba and adds her own practical solutions.

Chumley: "Run for your local school boards. Enter the public school systems as teachers and administrators. Become the local board of supervisors members, the city council members."

Bannon reminds his audience, once again, of the real threat.

Bannon: "Remember, the real target here is Christianity, that's the real target."

With the new Democrat regime enabling the so-called cancel culture, Christians are waking up to the need for drastic measures. Conservative pundits are noting the time for acquiescence to the world has come to an end.
