Notre Dame goes all in

September 16, 2022  0

TRANSCRIPT

Traditionally known as the premier Catholic university in America, the institution named after Our Lady continues to eat the forbidden fruit. Church Militant's Paul Murano chronicles the free fall of the once-proud University of Notre Dame and its continuing capitulation to the world.

The university named after the Virgin Mary is requiring incoming students to engage in video-based training in gender ideology.

Rev. Gerry Olinger, C.S.C., vice president for student affairs, University of Notre Dame: "How we as a university approach diversity on our campus, including differences in sexual orientation and gender identity."

The indoctrination includes exposing students to sexual propaganda that contradicts Christian anthropology.

Training video narrator: "'Transgender' refers to someone whose internal gender identity doesn't match their biological sex. 'Cisgender' refers to someone who is born with a physical body that is the same as their gender."

And moving from the theoretical to the personal, a student tells of her experience and wishes.

Notre Dame student: "Speaking as someone who is bisexual and who has had a same-sex partner in the past, I think the most important thing to me that makes me feel the most welcome and the most safe is when people treat it as like it's no big deal."

This is just the latest in a long line of sexual propaganda gaining ground at the institution.

In 2002, The Vagina Monologues was shown on campus. In 2004, it was the Queer Film Festival. And in 2009, anti-Catholic Barack Obama was given a platform to address the campus.

Beginning in 2011, university trustees were discovered to have been contributing to pro-abortion causes. In 2012, President Fr. John Jenkins approved a student LGBTQ group. This eventually gave birth to its Alumni Rainbow Community, or ARC.

Dolly Duffy, executive director, Notre Dame Alumni Association: "ARC ND is our newest affinity group. ... Our LGBTQ community is an integral part of our Notre Dame family."

In 2018, the Pandora's box was opened to provide contraceptives to students. And in 2019, President Jenkins rejected calls from students and alumni to filter out pornography from campus internet. Also in 2019, so-called GALA awards were given to sodomite Pete Buttigieg and the heterodox Fr. James Martin. And last year, the university teamed up with Joe Biden in endorsing June as "Pride Month."

This year's gender ideology training is the next step into the abyss for a nominally Catholic university.

In another surrender to the woke mob, in 2019, Notre Dame covered up its mural of Christopher Columbus in its administrative building.
