Memory Lane

The roots of Church Militant.

August 19, 2021  0

Tomorrow, Aug. 20, is my deceased brother's birthday. His name is Marshall. Please remember him in your prayers.

It also happens to be my birthday as well. Marshall and I were born the same day, seven years and one minute apart. It was beside my brother's coffin in 2003 where my reversion to the Catholic faith began. And it was beside my mother's coffin in 2004 where it was completed.

As life moves on, lots of things change — including this apostolate.

From those two deaths and all that pain, this apostolate was born. That was 15 years ago. As life moves on, lots of things change — including this apostolate.

So on this anniversary of our birthdays, it seems a fitting moment to take a trip down memory lane. And just before we do, we want to say thank you to all of you who keep us afloat with your subscriptions, donations and, of course, prayers.
