Scapegoating McCarrick

Complicit bishops want to blame him and move on.

June 19, 2019  0

In Church Militant's continued coverage of the one-year anniversary of the revelations about Theodore McCarrick, today we are focusing on the desire of certain members of the complicit hierarchy to scapegoat McCarrick and just move on.

Today, an interview with Fr. Paul Sullins, who was ordained by McCarrick and says that McCarrick is being used by certain bishops to hide the larger problem of episcopal malfeasance.

Father Sullins has done impeccable research for the Ruth Institute not just showing, but proving the connection between the incidence of homosexual men in the priesthood with the abuse of minors — a near perfect correlation.

And he says there is a definite connection between the current critical state of the Church and presence of homosexual men, ordained by bishops who ignored Church teaching.
